This Privacy Policy describes the information practices of JDW EQUIPMENT SERVICE LLC, a limited liability company registered at 2218 E Lone Tree Pkwy, Eagle Mountain, UT 84005, United States (the "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), in connection with the website at grtinvestm.shop and www.grtinvestm.shop (the "Site"). The Site is developed and maintained by GRT INVESTMENTS (the "Developer"), which operates the Site on the Company's behalf.
The Site is an informational business reference presenting the Company's registered scope of merchant-wholesale distribution activities. It is not a store, marketplace, ordering system, quote engine, or payment channel. By using the Site, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy.
Information you provide. When you submit the "Dock Slip" contact form or email us, we collect what you choose to send: your name, email address, optional phone number, the aisle/topic you select, and your message contents. Please do not include in your message: trade secrets or confidential product designs, financial account details, Social Security numbers, or information about minors.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting and content-delivery providers automatically receive standard technical data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages requested, timestamps, and general geographic region derived from the IP address. This data supports security, abuse prevention, and aggregate traffic analysis.
Cookies and similar technologies. The Site uses a small number of functional cookies or local-storage entries (for example, interface preferences). We do not operate advertising trackers, behavioral-advertising cookies, or cross-site profiling. Browser settings let you block or delete cookies without materially affecting the Site.
We do not sell personal information, do not share it for third-party advertising, and do not build marketing profiles from it.
The Site does not operate a B2B marketplace, procurement portal, quotation system, inventory database, or payment service. No purchase order, sale, or trade agreement is solicited, executed, or administered through the Site. Category listings on the catalog describe registered scope only — not live inventory, pricing, or availability. Communications through the Site do not create a buyer–seller or agency relationship.
We process inquiry data based on your request for a response and our legitimate interest in operating a business reference site. Contact messages are retained for up to 24 months after our last correspondence unless a longer period is required by law. Server logs are retained for rolling periods of approximately 90 days.
We share personal data only with: (a) infrastructure providers that host and deliver the Site (including Google Firebase Hosting), bound by their own security commitments; (b) professional advisors (attorneys, insurers, accountants) under confidentiality duties; and (c) authorities where disclosure is legally required. Each provider processes data only as needed to supply its service.
The Site is served over HTTPS. Contact-form submissions transit standard TLS encryption. Access to inquiry records is limited to the Developer and Company personnel with a need to respond. No internet transmission or storage system is perfectly secure; if you believe information you sent us has been compromised, contact us immediately at the address below.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about you; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Utah residents: under the Utah Consumer Privacy Act you may have rights of access, deletion, portability, and to opt out of targeted advertising or sale — though we neither sell personal data nor engage in targeted advertising. Requests are honored as described above.
The Site is directed to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
The Site may link to external services for convenience. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites; review their policies separately.
We may update this Policy to reflect operational or legal changes. Material updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Site after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
